Freezing rain

As if Monday's aren't bad enough....we've had two slick Monday's since December started. It's not looking good for December this year, since this is only the second Monday in December. :( Last Monday's condition's lasted all day and most of the night...today is supposed to be better and get above 40 by late morning. Time will tell.

There were cars off the road, cars that couldn't even get up driveways and slow driving conditions. I drove about 50-55 mph on the highway and 25 in town. That is slow for me... Champaign was much worse than the rest of the drive today.

This is getting us used to winter cold-turkey.
