First Christmas Eve

We spend Christmas Eve at Grandma Darlene's house. We have lunch, then open presents. At least that is what happens now...in a few years I'm pretty sure that we'll have to open presents earlier than that. :) It was a nice day all in all. We all had some car trouble. :( But it mostly seems like small stuff. In the evening we went to a gathering with my mom's family. She comes from a huge family (16 kids in all) and they are still getting together for the holidays. Luckily, they all live within a 40 mile radius of Champaign, so it's pretty easy to get together. It was a busy day, but fun. Especially fun with the boys, even though we didn't see them for a few hours...it seems like even though there are a lot of people in my mom's family that babies are hot commodities.

Jenny and Boyd trying to get our attention from the kitchen. Boyd was then interested in the snowflakes.

Reed and Dane playing with Boyd's new toy...they have one under the Christmas tree too, looks like it was a good pick.
Dane smiling for a diaper change.
Reed got Grandma in a good nap.
Dane fell asleep while opening gifts too...It was just too hard!

Boyd loved this jacket that Grandma got him. He played with this for a long time, it was hilarious.

Boyd opening some gifts....not interested much though.

Reed "opening" gifts. He would have rather eaten the wrapping paper.

A lot of the gifts and Boyd's rocking horse that talks.
