1 month appointment

The boys went to their one month appointment on Friday, June 27th. They did really well, as usual. They got their length and head's measured and were weighed. The doctor did her check-up on the boys and thought everything looked great with them. We asked her about Reed's eye and she thought it might have a little bit of infection and prescribed an oinment for it, which is doing the trick--it looks a ton better already.

The boys are growing so fast.

Dane was 6 lbs., 1 oz. at birth and was 8 lbs., 14 oz. at one month (5 weeks)
Reeder was 4 lbs., 11 oz. at birth and was 7 lbs., 14 oz. at one month (5 weeks)

We thought it was so funny they were packing on the pounds. I guessed they would be mid 7 and mid 8 pounds, but not closer to 8 and 9 pounds! WOW!

After the appointment, we finished up cleaning the Urbana house, went to lunch with Aunt Jenny, Uncle Bart, Boyd and Myriah, visited Mommy's work and went shopping for diapers and formula and everything else we needed to pick up...since we had coupons. :)
