So, I got a call that Dane had broken out in Chicken Pox around 12 noon. By that night, he had them pretty bad, not terrible, but plenty. Reed got them over the weekend, but he had one spot on his leg. It was long, like Dane's neck. That is all he got, but his did blister, while Dane's spots did not. The boys took a lot of oatmeal baths and had a pink tint all weekend from all the caradryl. :) Momma went a little overboard, but hey it kept them from getting too bad.We're almost certain that they both had a small reaction to the chicken pox vaccine and this is why they broke out. We haven't been around any pox that we know of and several people said their kids have broken out after the vaccine. Lucky us...even though if we have any reactions, this is the best one in my opinion. So we stuck around the house all weekend so we didn't spread the germs to anyone else. It was nice and the boys were in fairly good moods, which always helps!
